The BLB (Black Light Blue) lamps use a special glass filter that absorbs almost all visible light and passes near ultraviolet energy
There are many industrial applications for these lamps such as photoexposure and chemical reactions. They can also be used for the selection of minerals by fluorescence.

Warning: Ultraviolet rays emitted from Black Light Blue Lamps are not harmful (wave length under 300nm).
However when working around ultraviolet rays for a long time, please wear glasses to protect your eyes.
Note : 1. UV rays are adsorbed by general glass.
It need to pay an attention in case of using Black Light Blue Lamps put behind thick glass.
2. Normal glass (3mm thick) absorbs approximately 10% of near UV light at wavelengths over 360nm. approximately 30% at wavelengths of 340nm, and approximately 80% at wavelengths of 320nm.
The effect is therefore reduced if thick glass is used.
3. UV emission intensity is a value measured at a distance of one meter from the lamp.
4. Compared to regular lamps, UV lamps hasten the degradation of resins.
